My name is Jacqueline Day-LaSaga and I was born and raised in Jeddore on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia.  After  “escaping” to the city for 10 years, the slower pace of country living called us home.

While living in Dartmouth I met and married my husband of 10 years and had a baby boy we named Joshua.  I also began to follow a passion for sewing and cake decorating. 

In 2002 we bought our first home in Musquodoboit Harbour. Although not formally trained, my friends and family were always willing to put their faith in my abilities to create cakes and clothing for the important days in their lives.  From that faith a business was born.  I now spend my days sewing or baking anything a client can dream up.  I love to help the “domestically” challenged.

All my cake designs are based on the clients’ vision, which makes them all unique.

When I’m not baking or sewing I enjoy reading, knitting and decorative painting.
